CÔTE DES BASQUES, Biarritz – France (Friday, July 12, 2013) – Biarritz has been suffering an absolute lack of swell since the beginning of the Roxy Pro waiting period. Today conditions looked similar with a flat ocean not allowing any competition to be launched.
“The forecast still shows nothing really developing for the surf,” Dave Shipley, Head Judge stated. “So we’re just getting creative with beautiful days here in Biarritz. Tomorrow we’ll be making a 12 o’clock call for a potential running of the contest but most likely we’ll be doing a Roxy International Team challenge that should be really fun with canoes, stand-up and some running in a fun competitive athmosphere and the girls are pretty excited about it !”
Event organizers will reconvene at 12pm tomorrow to re-assess conditions.
