Surfing New Zealand proudly selects a New Zealand Open Surfing Team each year to compete at the prestigious International Surfing Association (ISA) World Surfing Games — an IOC-recognised global event that brings together over 250 surfers from more than 50 countries.
Surfers compete for individual and team medals, with the top eight nations from the previous year also participating in an elite tag team event.
