How did you start surfing: I started surfing down at Waitarere beach just north of Levin.  My dad bought a red soft top from the warehouse and we took it to the beach and dad just started pushing me in and I’ve been hooked ever since.
Surfing competitively since: I have been surfing competitively since I was 11 or 12

Competition strategy: my competition strategy is starting off with 2 quick wave just to calm the nerves and then surf the heat as only catching a wave if I think it will improve my score and then that means that I would use my priority in the best way.
New Zealand teams: NZ Junior team 2019,2022 2021 NZ Trans Tasman Surfing Test
Career highlight: A career highlight for me would be getting to go over to Hawaii for 11 days and getting to train with Carissa Moore and her family and friends.
Ambitions: Win some more national titles and then head over seas to do some QS and Pro junior’s.

People you surf with the most: I mostly surf by myself but I do surf with some of the local groms and some of the adults like Daniel Farr and Jarred Hancox

Other interests: Some of my other interests are hanging with friends and chilling at home and playing board games with my family

Life hero’s: Sir Edmund Hillary because he achieved a lot in his life time and things that hadn’t been done before so that proves that anything is possible and to never give up.
