Favourite event
For me would definitely have to be the Mount grom comp. Competing at home is a different feeling than any other comp, it brings more confidence as well as extra fuel from close friends and family supporting.
My go to pre event fuel
Would have to be a Monster Energy drink haha.
Fav pump song
Metallica – Enter sandman, Have listened to it before every heat since I was about 8 and still do till this day haha.
Who I would surf with
Definitely JJF by far, mainly because he’s my favourite surfer. To witness the lines he draws in real life would be ridiculous.
Where would I go
Being goofy I’d love to go to some long left like Skeleton bay or deserts. But a good day at the local can never be beaten.
Any other sport
I’d say basketball, I love watching it but not the best at playing, mastering that would be mental plus the money is out of this world.
Goals for upcoming comps
Personally I want to focus more on the free surf side of things making a big clip is the main goal but making an open final or something along the lines would be cool too.
Advice I would give to new competitors
I’d say just go out there and surf, don’t put any expectations on yourself and most of all make sure it’s all for fun.
