The New Zealand School Surfing Festival is a celebration of surfing for school aged youth.
The event takes on the unique teams format that sees schools nationwide challenge for the overall team title and a plate title which ensures maximum participation and development of school surfing teams at the event.
The event has separate boys and girls divisions to cater for all schools. The boys teams are made up of five participants in each team. The girls teams are made up of four participants in each team.
The 2024 inaugural event is being held at Maori Bay, Muriwai, Auckland. The event is sanctioned by School Sport New Zealand and expands on our school surfing programme which includes the illustrious National Scholastic Championships and the Primary School Championships.
Teams must register with Surfing New Zealand by Friday 15th March and complete the school entry form.
