Overview
Surfing New Zealand selects a New Zealand Longboard Team annually. The team competes at the International Surfing Association (ISA) World Longboard Championship.
The World Longboard Championship is an IOC recognised event which attracts approximately 100 entries from over 30 countries. The 2023 event is also a qualification event for the ANOC Beach Games in Bali, 5-12 Aug 2023.
Surfers compete for both individual and team medals.

Teams are selected using the Surfing New Zealand Teams Qualification Policy
Time Frame
The 2023 ISA World Longboard Championship will be held in El Salvador, 7-13 May.
