Surfing New Zealand is seeking expressions of interest for coaching and team management roles with the New Zealand Junior Surfing Team, set to compete at the 2025 ISA World Junior Surfing Championship (WJSC) in Punta Rocas, Peru, December 5-14, 2025.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of New Zealand’s top junior surfers as they take on the world stage. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about high-performance sport, committed to athlete development, and capable of working in a dynamic international team environment.
Available Roles:
- Head Coach
- Assistant Coach
- Team Manager
What We’re Looking For:
- Ideally holds an ISA Level 2 Coaching Certificate (or equivalent qualification)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Experience managing logistics and supporting athlete wellbeing during international travel and competition
- A collaborative, team-first mindset
As part of the Junior Surfing Team staff, you’ll play a key role in preparing and supporting New Zealand’s elite young surfers as they represent Aotearoa at one of the most prestigious events on the global surfing calendar.
