Each year, Surfing New Zealand proudly selects a New Zealand Junior Surfing Team to represent the country at the prestigious International Surfing Association (ISA) World Junior Surfing Championships.
This IOC-recognised event is the pinnacle of junior surfing globally, attracting 250+ athletes from over 30 countries to compete for individual and team honours. The top eight nations also earn the right to compete in a thrilling tag team event.
