From the bach to the beach, road trips to the perfect wave, Epic Break is Surfing New Zealand’s summer campaign celebrating long, warm days in and around the ocean.
Launching National Surfing Day – 7 December 2025, Epic Break brings together events, fans, families, and coastal communities for a season of surfing, sun, and shared good times across Aotearoa.
Whether you surf every day or simply love a barefoot summer, this is your invitation to get out there and make your Epic Break.
What is Epic Break?
Epic Break is Surfing New Zealand’s nationwide celebration of summer, designed to connect surfers, supporters, and holidaymakers with the very best of Kiwi beach culture.
Over four sunny months (Dec–April), the campaign brings together:

🤙 Athlete ambassadors & surf community leaders
