Surfing New Zealand annually selects a New Zealand Masters Surfing Team to compete at the ISA World Masters Surfing Championship—an IOC-recognised event that features top-level competition for surfers aged 35 and over. The event draws around 160 athletes from more than 20 countries and includes both individual and team divisions.
