What is your favourite event to compete at in the New Zealand junior Series? The Te Kaika South Island surf champs in Dunedin was my favourite event because we found the best waves for free surfing during an event and surfed some cool spots.

Have you been to Brazil before? It will be my first time travelling overseas for an event. I am super excited to go to Brazil for the first time.

What are you looking forward to most about the trip? Competing on a world stage and experiencing an array of different cultures during the event.

What boards will you be taking? CI 2.pro, Fever and 2happy

What are you doing training wise on the lead up to the ISA World Junior Surfing Championships? I’ve been training at Refinery whangaroa with Johnny Rickhard, the Raglan surfing academy and surf camps with Matt Scorange, Khan Butler and Billy Stairmand.
