What is it that brings your club together?  Whānau and waves!

The club prides itself in?
We pride ourselves on getting together and sharing a good vibe in the water.  Through our Jnr Club and Tammi Martin’s lady wave tribe initiative we have seen the growth of surfing in our community double.  We are also proud of the way our groms respect their local break and represent the club on the National stage.  We run a Northside Camp every year (Matt & Tammi Martin) where whānau come together to surf waves in different off the grid locations.

What is one thing you would change about the club if you could?
Getting the old crew back a bit more.

What is a club hack that you would like to share with others Boardriders around the country?  Ku for life

Any exciting events that you have coming up?
We have the MainPower and Joyce & Co Winter Thaw coming up (fingers crossed).  This is the only comp in North Canterbury, it has a real community vibe and involves a lot of Waikuku Locals and a beach clean-up.

If a local surfer is planning to join a board riders club why should they choose you?
We are a club that enjoys getting together and surfing.  We also have pathways to support groms who want to compete at a regional and national level.
