With one or more events every weekend of summer you will find all the info you need to know right here. There are three different series of events to choose from. Check them out, download entry forms to enter and check out the results from each event that Surfing New Zealand run.
Please note: The following information is not the full SNZ Events Calendar. It is a brief description about each series and the dates that each event from a series is being held.
The New Zealand Pro Series comprises key events around the country. The series offers up the best New Zealand surfers at the best surf locations around New Zealand. Check out the likes of Maz Quinn, Jay Quinn, Bobby Hansen and others as they fight it out for national honours. Each event is open for anyone to enter. Three divisions (Open Men and Women and Under 20 Men) share $40,000 in prizes throughout the New Zealand Pro Series.

The Hyundai Tour is where it is at for New Zealand longboarders. Contested over seven divisions (Open Men and Women, Junior Men, Over 40s, Over 50s, SUP Surf and SUP Race), this tour has created its own style and atmosphere. Check out one of the events scattered throughout the country. All events are open for anyone to enter with heaps of spot prizes and giveaways for everyone. 2013 is going to be great with the addition of the Logger Expression Session and the proposed Long Distance SUP Race.

The Surfing New Zealand Grom Series is the proving ground for all young surfers. Breeding the likes of Bobby Hansen and more recently Matt Hewitt, Tim O'Connor, Richard Christie, Alex Dive, Johnny Hicks, Paige Hareb and Airini Mason these events are solely for surfers under the age of 16. With divisions for boys and girls everyone gets a fair chance up against surfers of their own age. Long gone are the days when every young surfer waited all year to contest the Nationals or the Scholastics, this series comprises their own events for the grommets to hone their skills.

The Billabong Grom Series presented by Oceanbridge provides first hand opportunity for many youngsters to surf competitively. Along with this experience, each competitor gets to meet other surfers from around New Zealand making friendships and becoming familiar with what it takes to make it to the top of their sport. In 2013 each event will feature a stack of giveaways from these sponsors as well as games for the competitors and spectators. Note that in 2013 entrants only allowed to enter one division per event. Series winners for the Under 16 and 14 Boys and Girls as well as the Under 12 Boys receive a trip to Australia and entry into the Billabong Occy Grom Comp held on the Gold Coast.
